Earlier this month a couple of renders surfaced with the possible design for the iPhone XR 2019, showing a variety of colors. The renders revealed bold colors like the current XR, rather than the more subdued hues of the X-series iPhones. Now the latest batch of renders pictures the new XR with colors that are closer to last year’s XS family.
That means that this year’s iPhone XR will come in Black, Gold, Gray and what seems to be Product Red. The last color was present in iPhone XR portfolio, with availability limited to some carriers. The premium XS and XS Max, However, never got this color option. Furthermore, the gold color present in the new leak is really far from the bright yellow that debuted with the iPhone XR.
Gizchina News of the week
Some users will really love the new options rather than the bright hues from last year’s iPhone XR, however, we believe that the great majority of users isn’t enjoying the new off-center camera hump present in the renders. While the iPhone XS and XS are set to debut with triple rear camera sensors, the XR will come with just two cameras, probably from 2017’s iPhone X or last year’s XS models. In order to keep design consistency between all the three devices, the company decided to adopt the same square-ish camera design.
Apart from the new colors, the iPhone XR 2019 is expected to keep the same screen size, 6.1-inch, and should be the last iPhone to ship with an LCD screen. It is expected to ship with the same A13 chipset that is coming on the high-end variants.
