Chinese manufacturing giant, Xiaomi, is the best selling smartphone and TV brand in India. The company has been on to of the Indian market for several quarters and it is bringing more incentives to ensure that it stays on top. Usually, Xiaomi sells its products in India via numerous online stores including its own Mi.com as well as offline outlets. Now, Manu Kumar Jain, Xiaomi VP and President of Xiaomi India announced today that the company has launched a ‘Guaranteed Next-Day delivery’ for purchases from Mi.com for an additional fee of Rs. 49 (∼$1). This delivery is active in over 150 cities spread across different regions in India.

It should be noted that this incentive is available for orders which are placed by 3 pm across 90+ products. In addition, the ‘Next day delivery’ option is available from Monday to Friday but Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays are excluded. Furthermore, it is not available for exchange orders and the company will refund the Express delivery charges if it fails to deliver on the proposed date.
Recall that the company introduced a similar express delivery in Bengaluru city for select smartphones sometime last year. However, unlike the current ‘Guaranteed Next-Day delivery’ the former was offered for FREE.
