A new update for the recently released OnePlus 7 Pro is now available and it comes with a couple of features. In addition to system stability and fix for recently reported issues, this new update also optimizes the side-slip gesture, adding a sliding back gesture. According to the changelog, this update comes with
- Optimized side-slip gesture (Settings > Buttons and Gestures > Virtual Buttons and Full-Screen Gestures > Return on both sides)
- Improve stability
- Fix known issues

However, this latest update appears to be for the Chinese version only because it is designated “Hydrogen_13” and the Hydrogen system is for the Chinese market. However, with this update arriving the Chinese model, it wouldn’t take long before it gets to other units around the world. Although this is not a major update, it weighs ∼2.7GB. Recall that the One Plus 7 Pro Oxygen OS is also currently receiving a stable update which improves system stability, optimize screen sensitivity and the camera’s super wide-angle and night scene modes. However, this update is basically for camera improvements judging from the changelog.
If you have the global version of the OnePlus 7 Pro, you can search for the OxygenOS 9.5.7 update to get better cameras. However, if you have the Chinese version, there is another update which adds optimized side-slip gesture.
