Vivo has been quite active in the budget handset market of India since a couple of weeks. It launched two Y series phones – Vivo Y15, Vivo Y12, – and there is at least one more Y series phones in its locker. Apart from that, the company also announced via a press release that it will be introducing the Vivo Z1 Pro in the country soon. The company’s official Twitter handle also shared a teaser today that shows a glimpse of the front design of the handset.

Gizchina News of the week
From the teaser, it’s clear that the Z1 Pro has a hole-punch design. Vivo has also let the media know that the handset will go on sale via Flipkart and its key features will be a triple camera, long-lasting battery, powerful performance, and an in-display hole-punch camera.
It’s worth pointing out that Vivo’s only handset with a hole-punch is the Vivo Z5X that just launched last month in China. Also, most of its specifications match with the description of Vivo Z1 Pro. It’s quite likely that Vivo will rebadge the Z5x as the Vivo Z1 Pro. If that is indeed the case, then the Z1 Pro will also feature the Snapdragon 710 SoC which is also inside the Realme 3 Pro.
Despite the teaser, the actual launch date of the Vivo Z1 Pro is not known. However, we expect an official launch date soon. It will be an online exclusive device for Vivo which according to reports will be priced around the Rs 15,000 mark.
