The Samsung Galaxy S10 and S10+ duo come in a total of six colors, but not a single region will get the whole color variants. For China, the duo is currently available in black, jade white, glass green, ceramic black, and ceramic white, but that could be changing soon as a new color hue could be landing soon.
Samsung China in an official Weibo post has released a poster announcing the arrival of a new color option for both Galaxy S10 and S10+. The Weibo post translated to “Smoke blue, new color coming soon!”, we are, however, not sure if this variant will be as shiny and reflective as the prism blue model offered in a few other markets. The variant should pack the same specs, design, and of course the same price as with the other variant.
Gizchina News of the week
Samsung isn’t exactly new to this whole trend of releasing a few color variant at launch and then followed by a design refresh in the form of new color options a few weeks/months later. The aim is clearly to ensure the Galaxy S10 doesn’t fizzle out in record time. The Galaxy S9/S9+ from last year also got similar treatment and with the warm reception the S10 series received in China at launch, the new color variant should help rake in more sales for the Korean company.
Samsung has yet to introduce the 5G variant of the Galaxy S10 to the Chinese market, but that should happen soon, given that the next generation 5G connectivity option roll out soon, commercially in China.
