Update: This is likely a fake box as we suspected. Slashleaks has also taken the post down.
The Realme 3 isn’t a very old device as it was released just a couple of months back in India. However, a YouTube video has just leaked the alleged retail package of the Realme 4 today. Sadly though, the source doesn’t peel off the plastic to show us more of the box.
There’s also a render of the Realme 4 on Twitter watermarked by the same source which shows the rear design similar to the Realme 1 but with some minor changes. We wouldn’t bank our money on the renders so early but the box packaging looks legit. The fact that the retail box of the handset is already in the hands of a YouTuber seems strange. And if it’s true, it probably means that we could see an upgrade of the Realme 3 much earlier than usual.
Gizchina News of the week
We do know that the Realme X is expected to be rebadged as the Realme 4 Pro in India and a launch is expected before September. Deducing from that, the Realme 4 could be a watered-down version of the Realme 4 Pro with a more timid processor.
The Realme X has a Snapdragon 710 SoC which also powers the Realme 3 Pro right now. It boasts a 48MP Sony sensor with an f/1.7 aperture. It has a 3,765mAh battery with 20W fast charge and goes upto 8GB of RAM + 128GB of storage.
