Last week, Honor has officially certified in Russia a new device not yet announced called Honor 9X Pro, a more powerful variant of Honor 9X, also certified a few weeks ago.
At the same time, what appear to be the supposedly complete technical specifications of Honor 9X Pro has appeared on Twitter, which if confirmed would definitely make sense of the word “Pro” in the name.

According to the source, in fact, the smartphone would be equipped with four rear cameras : the main sensor is the classic 48-megapixel Sony IMX582 that we have learned about on many other smartphones in recent months, accompanied by an 8-megapixel wide-angle sensor, a 2 megapixel macro lens and a 2 megapixel sensor for the bokeh effect.
Gizchina News of the week
The rest of the data sheet informs us instead of the presence of an LCD display whose size will be between 6.5 and 6.7 inches, with a hole in the upper part to accommodate the 25-megapixel front camera. There is also a large 4000mAh battery with 20 watts fast charge support and the not yet announced 7 nanometer Kirin 810 SoC.
Kirin 810 is Huawei's upcoming mid range 7nm SOC with its self developed integrated NPU &
will be used in Nova 5(standard version) & Honor9XPro.Kirin 970 & 980 use Cambrian NPU from Cambricorn Technolgy.

According to the source also, Honor 9X Pro will be the second smartphone of the brand with this processor, which will see the light initially on Huawei Nova 5. It is therefore very likely that the official announcement of the device, together with Honor 9X, will take place after the formalization of the new SoC.
