LG’s mid-range device, the Lg Stylo 4 was released back in June last year. During the past weeks, we started to see the first rumors about a sequel popping out. With an alleged launch date set for July 15, the LG Stylo 5 popped out today in a couple of renders.
Judging by the pictures, we can see a device that is pretty close to its predecessor. The major difference rests in the camera’s design. On the Sylo 5, LG decided to put together the primary camera and the LED flash, instead of being placed separately as they were on Stylo 4.

When it comes to the similarities, the LG Stylo 5 retains the fingerprint scanner on the back, with volume rock on the left and power button on the right. Unfortunately, the new renders don’t show the handset top and bottom part. However, case renders leaked a few days ago, revealing the presence of a USB C port, 3.5mm headphone jack and a slot for the Stylus. Specs may be revealed soon but we don’t expect anything out of the ordinary for an entry-level handset.
While the launch date of LG newest smartphone is yet to be confirmed, the lock screen reveals the July 15 date, and that seems like a clue.
