It is becoming more apparent that Xiaomi and Meitu’s partnership will be bearing its first fruit soon. It’s been just a few hours since we reported of some leaked specs belonging to an unknown Xiaomi Meitu phone. And now someone in China appears to have got access to the leaked render of the device.
The leaked image, sadly, doesn’t reveal much, however, the image shows a stacked semblance with the recently announced ASUS Zenfone 6. From the poster, the Xiaomi Meitu phone features a flip camera similar to that of the ASUS Zenfone 6/ASUS 6z. But while the Zenfone houses a dual camera, the Xiaomi Meitu device is seen with a tri-camera, and of course a larger camera module. The device similar to the Zenfone 6 is likely to get a truly borderless display to tempt you.
Gizchina News of the week
With the ASUS type design, the Xiaomi-Meitu phone will come with a triple camera setup that flips over for selfie, while serving normal photographic functions when not in the selfie mode. The entire camera specs are sparse at the moment given that the Xiaomi Meituphone design doesn’t lineup with the rumored Xiaomi Mi CC9e, and Mi CC9.
Aside from a pink gradient finish, curved sides, and pink buttons on the right frame there is no how we can the other design element. However, reports say the Xiaomi phones with model number Mi CC9e, and Mi CC9 that surfaced last week on the web could launch under the Xiaomi Meitu arrangements.
We have no idea when the said device will launch officially, however, the Meitu Xiaomi agreement suggests the device will carry the Meitu branding.
Ssooo it’s a Mate 20 that can flip cam?
Is it Meizu or Meitu?? This post mentions both. Sloppy writing!
It’s Meitu, not Meizu
