The Indian budget and mid-range market segment is one key market that manufacturers look up to grab some market shares. Samsung and Xiaomi are at the moment the two top market leaders, but the battle is getting intense, especially with more entrants into the market. VIVO has recently said it will launch an offline VIVO S series and online-only smartphone series for the market, and so is LG with its upcoming LG W series.
VIVO earlier today released a teaser poster for a launch event tipped for July 3 in India. The brand will launch the VIVO Z1 Pro which will sell in partnership with Flipkart at the event. The Z1, however, isn’t the only VIVO device coming to India in the coming weeks, VIVO is reportedly working on updating its VIVO S series for India.

Furthermore, 91mobiles citing its anonymous source notes that the said VIVO series smartphone will come in 6GB + 128GB and 8GB + 128GB variants, backed by triple camera setup on the back. We are not sure what the battery and the internal hardware VIVO could employ, though our source hinted that the 6GB variant will be priced under Rs 20,000, while the 8GB model will be positioned in the sub-Rs 25,000 price bracket.
