It was recently reported that Samsung still has one more A series device in the pipeline – the Galaxy A90. Today some more nuggets of information regarding it have appeared online. According to Galaxy Club, the Galaxy A90 will also have a 32MP primary rear camera and 5G. Also, a recent tweet from noted Samsung tipster IceUniverse says that the handset will also boast 45W fast charging.
Gizchina News of the week
The Galaxy A90 is allegedly being tested in S.Korea and has model number SM-A908N. There could be two alternate models with a 5G variant for Korean and a non-5G model. As for the latest report of 45W fast charging, Samsung’s Note 10 Pro has also increasingly being linked to this particular feature. As of now, Samsung’s personal best is 25W fast charging which lags behind forerunners like OPPO and Huawei’s 40W+ charging speeds.
It’s possible that Samsung could once again introduce the 45W charging with the A series device first, and thereafter launch it in the Galaxy Note 10 series. Beyond this, there’s not much known about the Galaxy A90. Samsung is likely to refresh the Note series in August so we could see the A90 launch before that. Samsung also has a GalaxyA70s in the works which is rumoured to be the first phone with a 64MP Samsung ISOCELL sensor.
