Huawei reiterates that it’s global production is “normal”


Chinese manufacturing giant, Huawei, has been at the hub of controversy since the United States government added the company to its entity list. There are a lot of rumors and speculations regarding the survival of the company. This forced the company to provide an official response to most of the false reports flying on the web. Latest reports suggest that the company is cutting down its production especially outside China. Huawei debunked these claims and said that its global production is normal and has not been significantly adjusted.

On June 21, Walter Ji, president of Huawei’s consumer business in Western Europe, told the media that contrary to popular reports, the sales of Huawei mobile phones in Western European countries were growing. He also pointed out that Huawei is committed to continuing to use the Android operating system, but is also preparing its own backup system solution.
