Oppo states that first under-screen cameras won’t have mind blowing quality

Oppo is gearing up to introduce its under-scree camera solution tomorrow at MWC Shanghai. The company is always one of the first companies to come up with breaking new ideas, and the new solution promises to be the ultimate notch-killer. However, life is not a bed of roses, and Oppo came today to hold our expectations a little bit.

Less than 24 hours before the launch, the company Vice President Brian Shen stated that expectations about image quality should not be high – After all, the technology is still in development.

The post came as an answer to another user concerned about the quality of the pictures captured with this sensor. The first iteration of this technology will act as if the front element isn’t perfectly clean, this makes us wonder if it will actually be ready for a product, or if we will have to wait for the second generation.
