The first two devices under the Xiaomi CC smartphone series are due for launch on July 2nd in China. Both devices have suffered a few leaks, and it appears too that the Chinese brand will drip feed us with bits of information in the days leading to the launch. We already know the Xiaomi CC9 and CC9e will come fitted with a triple camera set up at the back comprising of a main 48MP Sony IMX586 sensor, and two other sensors.
A teaser from earlier today also confirmed the device will get a 32MP camera, and now we have our first look at the device’s retail box courtesy of Lao Cici Wei, the product manager of the new smartphone line.

Although the box doesn’t tell us much, except that the new product line aims to offer fresh new aesthetics and trendy colors to the youth. It confirms the Xiaomi CC9 moniker on the one side, and on the other side, we can see the device’s specs written in n multi-color boxes which again confirms the main cameras to be a 48MP and 32MP sensors in that order.
Previous leaks and rumors suggest the Xiaomi CC9 will sport a 6.2-inch AMOLED screen with an in-display fingerprint scanner Snapdragon, a SD 730 SoC under the hood, with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. Other details include Android Pie-based MIUI 10, while it will be powered by a 4000mAh battery with support for fast charging.
More details about both the Xiaomi CC9 and CC9e should follow soon, officially or in the form of leaks.
