LG is once again taking a shot at the lucrative Indian smartphone market with a trio of smartphones launched today under its W series. The offerings start with the LG W10 which is an entry-level device, and two mid-range handsets – the LG W30 and its bigger sibling the LG W30 Pro. The LG W10 is priced Rs. 8,999 and comes in Tulip Purple and Smokey Grey colours. The LG W30 costs RS 9,999 and offers Thunder Blue, Platinum Grey and Aurora Green colour options. The LG W30 Pro availability will be declared later.
Coming to the entry-level LG W10, it has a notched 6.19-inch display with HD+ resolution and a MediaTek Helio P22 (also on the W30) and 3GB of RAM + 32GB of onboard storage with expandability options. It has a dual rear camera setup of 13MP + 5MP sensors and the front selfie shooter is of 8MP quality.

The LG W30 is very similar but has different camera specifications and a slightly different screen – 6.26-inch Dot FullVision display. The triple rear camera setup is composed of a 12MP Sony IMX486 sensor, a 13MP 100-degree wide-angle lens, and a 2MP depth sensor. There’s a 16MP selfie shooter inside the notch.
The LG W30 Pro has a similar 6.21-inch (1520 × 720 pixels) HD+ FullVision V notch display and a different Snapdragon 632 SoC coupled with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of onboard storage with MicroSD options. It has a 13MP rear primary camera along with an 8MP 100-degree (without distortion) ultra-wide camera, and 5MP depth sensor while the front has a 16MP shooter. All the three handsets have the same 4,000mAh battery, run the same Android 9.0 Pie software and also have a fingerprint reader and a headphone jack.
