Huawei adds six more devices to Android Q schedule

Huawei is going through a big mess. The future of the company as a whole is still uncertain due to the US ban who banned the company from sourcing software and hardware for many US companies. The Chinese firm is doing the best to go around the problems, but it doesn’t seem to easy. Recently, it was forced to start the development of its own software for future smartphones. Despite this, Huawei is still delivering good support by updating the current lineup and promising Android Q for the future.

Following the company’s list of Android Q eligible smartphones, the Spanish division posted a new list on Twitter. Despite the eligible devices that were already revealed, there are six new additions to the Android Q schedule.

The new list includes a ton of Mate 10 devices. These devices were quite popular back in their day, and we’re sure that there are plenty of loyal users with the handset. When it comes to the rest of Huawei Mate 20 lineup, there’s no big surprise. After all, these are recently released devices, and Huawei has promised this update before.

List of new Additions to Android Q EMUI Program:

  • Huawei Mate 10
  • Huawei Mate 10 Pro
  • Huawei Mate 10 Porsche Design
  • Huawei Mate 20 lite
  • Huawei Mate 20 RS Porsche Design
  • Huawei Mate 20 X

The twitter post states that “Our commitment is with you, our users.” That’s a clear response to users that are concerned with the company’s recent situation. Despite the uncertain future, Huawei promises to keep their handsets updated, at least for one more year.
