Gizchina News of the week

This is the world’s first 20:1 strip screen and catapults BOE to the lead on this specific range. The screen reaches 4K resolution (that is 3840×160pixels) that despite the small size, results in better clarity. Furthermore, readers will be able to read and understand the display content even in bigger distances. The strip screen has a size of 1209×63mm. While traditional displays of this kind come with huge bezels, BOE managed to put them in line with nowadays standards. The borders are just 6.4×6.4×5.7×7.3mm thick.

BOE states that the new technology can be used in supermarkets shelves, advertising practitioners and business districts. However, there are many other applications for these displays – Smart Traffic Display Field, Children toys, Theather’s Schedule, and many others. One time that BOE wants to see these displays in such environments, we believe that they are resistant to outdoor scenarios and has a low power consumption.
