Google Chrome for Android has passed the milestone of 5 billion installations within the Play Store, a number that few other applications can boast, always belonging to the Google ecosystem. A few months ago it was in fact touched also to Maps, YouTube, Gmail and Google Search, which reached the same numbers, however, as we know, the counting of installations is never a real benchmark, considering that many of the Google apps – like Chrome – they are pre-installed on many smartphones, without the user having decided to download it voluntarily.
In any case, Chrome is one of the most widely used browsers in the Android environment and continues to be perfected as shown, for example, by the recent update that improved the password management and search function.
