Xiaomi CC9 and CC9e will be the first smartphones of the new CC family, announced just a week ago and developed in collaboration with the recently acquired Meitu. In the past few hours, more information has emerged on both devices, pending the official presentation to be held on 2 July. To begin with, we have some technical data confirmations thanks to the preliminary TENAA certifications:
Update: It seems that the Xiaomi’s M1904F3BT is actually the Mi CC9 Meitu Custom Edition since it has Meitu branding, while the Xiaomi CC9e M1906F9SC seems to have Xiaomi branding.

The founder and CEO of Xiaomi, Lei Jun, then anticipated that Xiaomi CC9 will also be released in the “Meitu Custom Edition” version: it will have exclusive colors, a different packaging from the other variants, 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage, and above all an algorithm for processing images captured by the camera developed by Meitu, while the other editions use Xiaomi software. There is a very advanced night mode which, according to what Meitu shared, manages to light up even in completely dark scenes.
