Yesterday we brought up some news about Redmi 6 and 6A getting Android Pie in the future. On that occasion, we mentioned that the company is also seeking developers to test an Android Q based MIUI for the Pocophone F1 aka Poco F1.

The Pocophone F1 was released back in August 2018 as the cheapest Snapdragon 845 smartphone available. The handset came with MIUI 9.6 Global Stable on top of Android 8.1 Oreo. Later in December 2018, the company rolled out Android 9.0 Pie based MIUI 10 update for the smartphone. Early on this month, Xiaomi announced a list of devices that will be eligible for an Android Q update. Pocophone Global Head, Alvin Tse, confirmed the Poco F1 on Android Q program.
