Samsung just released the Samsung Galaxy Watch Active back in March, and that is to say, the watch is barely a few months old in the market. But we already got hints that the firm is already prepping a Samsung Galaxy Watch active 2 that might launch alongside the Galaxy Note 10. Samsung has yet to confirm same, but that doesn’t keep the rumors and leaks from spilling on to the web.
Today, Sammobile just revealed a few images and details of the supposed smartwatch. And like it was earlier rumored, the watch appears to be heading the same direction with the original watch active, in terms of design. Images seen below suggests the Samsung Galaxy watch 2 has almost the same look as the watch active 1. It ditches the popular rotating bezel, while the home/power button remains rounded with a rectangular back button.

Furthermore, it looks as if the watch will retain the circular rim around the rear-mounted heart rate sensor, as well as the microphone between the home and back buttons on the right, along with what could be speaker grills on the left. This, in turn, suggests the device will support active call features.
Speaking of the details, reports have it that the Galaxy Watch Active 2 will come in two variants- an LTE and a Wi-Fi only variants fitted with a 340mAh cell, and 237mAh respectively. The Samsung Galaxy Watch active 2 should come in a 40mm and 44mm size, and in addition to these upgrades, we should expect some more fitness related features upgrade.
We are not sure when the Active 2 will see the light of the day, though rumors suggest it will come alongside the Note 10. Only time will tell.
