The Xiaomi CC9 and CC9e are undoubtedly one the most anticipated smartphones right now. Both devices arrive in about a few hours and we’ve already seen a bunch of leaks and teasers from the past few weeks. Just a few hours ago, the Xiaomi CC9e popped up on Geekbench, though with little specs to show for it.
Alongside 6GB of RAM, the listing featured a chipset which was rumored to be the 710 or possibly a Snapdragon 632. Now, we have a new leak that confirms the real SoC under its hood. Images of the supposed Xiaomi CC9e running system diagnostics app, AIDA64 has revealed that the device will come packed with the Snapdragon 665 under the hood, and not SD 632 as previously rumored. One of the images has the SoC as the S0C 655 with eight core – four are clocked at 1.8GHz while the other four are clocked at 2.0GHz.

Furthermore, the App also reveals the device will come packed with a 4030mA battery capacity, with Android 9 Pie and March’s security patch installed. The device is likely to arrive an a Pie based Android One smartphone, given that part of the phone’s setting has the name “laurel_sprout, ” while the same name also features in the“Fingerprint recognition” area. The “laurel_sprout” are known to be associated with only Android One devices.
The App reveals nothing about the standard CC9, though the same source suggests the Xiaomi CC9 will be powered by the Snapdragon 710 processor and not the Snapdragon 730.
We only have until a few hours before all these become official.
