Chinese phone maker Xiaomi earlier this month announced a new mid-range camera-centric series for the young users. It includes two new smartphones – the Xiaomi CC9, the CC9e, and the Xiaomi CC9 Meitu custom edition. The series supports Xiaomi’s adaptation of Apple’s Animoji – called Mimoji. There is also the unique sky replacement feature which allows users to change the sky in a photo from a range of presets to make it more appealing and ‘Instagram-worthy’.
While the feature was until now exclusive to the CC9 series, the Redmi K20 and Redmi K20 Pro from Spin-off Redmi are both now receiving the feature via OTA update.
