Earlier this month, we got our first look at the upcoming Motorola One Action, an Android One device which we all hoped could launch alongside the One Vision. The device has cleared a number of hurdles and is now on the verge of launch as it has now secured more prelease approval in Thailand.
Gizchina News of the week
The Motorola One Action has now cleared Thailand’s NBTC certification, hinting at an imminent launch. As usual, there isn’t much to dwell on as far as the listing goes, as the documents barely revealed anything. However, the device has been tipped in the past to sport a design similar to the One Vision. The most notable differences in design between both devices are on the rear panel. The Motorola One Action has a triple-lens rear camera setup on a plastic panel, and the Vision gets two with an all-glass panel. Other design elements including a rear fingerprint sensor, Motorola logo, the Android One logo at the bottom, and the USB-C port remain.
Motorola One Action Specs details
Surprisingly, the Motorola One Action is reportedly launching as a cheaper version of the One Vision. Leaks and rumors suggest it will drop the 48-megapixel primary shooter on the phone One vision for a 12MP main camera, although other camera details are scarce.
On the display front is a 6.3″ FHD+ display, with Samsung Exynos 9609 SoC under the hood.
