Huawei Mate 30 Pro could arrive with a screen more curved than ever

The Huawei Mate 30 Pro could be equipped with a particularly curved screen, much more than on previous generations.

Huawei has surprised the world by announcing that it will soon introduce its EMUI 10 interface based on Android 10 Q. On the hardware side, we are slowly starting to look to the Huawei Mate 30 and Mate 30 Pro. Especially since the United States has eased their sanction against the Chinese brand.

Curved Screens

It is in this context that the tweet of the Ice Universe leaker comes in:

Gizchina News of the week

“Full-Display v2.0 leaks more and more, at least two mobile phones will adopt such a curved screen to cover the design on both sides. Samsung is too conservative, has killed this similar project, these innovations will be led by Chinese mobile phones”.

This design trend popularized by the Edge models of Samsung smartphones would, therefore, be an important evolution.

Ice Universe also claims that at least two smartphones would come with this kind of particularly curved screens. Apparently called “Full Display 2.0”. The Huawei Mate 30 Pro would be part of it, but we do not know the identity of the other model. The leaker excludes Samsung and instead points to a Chinese manufacturer.

As a reminder, the Huawei Mate 20 Pro had a screen curved at the edges. While that of the classic Mate 20 was perfectly flat.

After a series of rumors related to its possible technical specifications. Huawei Mate 30 Pro begins to disseminate clues about its design. Some unreliable rumors had recently advanced the hypothesis that the next top-of-the-line smartphone from Huawei could be characterized by a circular arrangement for the rear photo module, but an alleged stolen shot from the production chain of the Mate 30 Pro, would offer a different and much more plausible scenario.
