Taiwanese smartphone maker HTC isn’t dreaming of reclaiming its lost glory soon, despite the fact that its financial report for the month of June looked positive. The company still, isn’t exiting the phone market, and following its recent unveiling of the U19e comes news of a fresh upcoming smartphone – the HTC Wildfire E smartphone.
The news first broke earlier in June when it was reported that the company might be reviving the long-dead Wildfire series pretty soon. 10 models of the upcoming Wildfire HTC phone received regulatory approval in Russia back in June. And here we are with some specific detailed of the HTC Wildfire E.
Gizchina News of the week
As per a report from retail chain in Russia, the HTC Wildfire E should be landing soon as the first in the revived HTC Wildfire series. The device will reportedly launch flaunting a 5.45-inch IPS display with an HD+ resolution in an 18:9 ratio. And will boot Android Pie out of the box.
HTC Wildfire E Specs and renders
No render or image of the HTC phone has been revealed. However, the report says the device will come in Blue, perhaps with some additional color options. Around the rear, it has a 13MP primary cam with a supplementary 2MP shooter, likely for depth mapping. And on the display front, it has a 5MP front-facing, perhaps embedded within the notch. Powering the device is the Spreadtrum SC9863 – an octa-core chip made up of only Cortex-A55 cores. The SoC is coupled with PowerVR IMG8322 video accelerator, 2 GB operational and 32 GB of internal memory. It uses a 3000mAh battery.
I’d love if they revive the Desire S model!
