Samsung Galaxy A80 released in Malaysia; There’s a special package for early adopters


Samsung is now offering the recently released Galaxy A80 in Malaysia. The handset is available through the company’s website, online and offline partners. Worth noting that early adopters will be offered with a special package.

The special bundle worth RM 2,500 (€550/$720), includes the Galaxy A80 plus a free Galaxy Fit smart band normally worth RM 369 (€80/$90). Additionally, the first 1,000 buyers of the handset will get a free Galaxy A80 Blackpink Special Edition bundle. It normally worth RM 449 (~€100/$112), so that is a good deal for those interested in the bezel-free handset.

The So-called Blackpink Special Edition Package comes with a Band-themed case, charging stand and USB cable all coated in Pink and black. The handset is available in Phantom Black,  Angel Gold, and Ghost White. Potential customers will be getting the 8GB RAM with 128GB of storage variant.

The Galaxy A80 came back in April this year with a bezel-less 6.7-inch AMOLED display. The handset carries the excellent Snapdragon 730 SoC under the hood. The Icing on the cake of the A80 it’s on its Motorized pop-up rotating main camera module. The triple camera sensor features a 48 MP sensor, an 8MP ultrawide, and TOF 3D camera. Furthermore, the premium mid-range is equipped with an under-display fingerprint scanner and boasts a 3,700mAh battery. The package is completed by Android 9 Pie with One UI running atop.
