Qualcomm’s latest flagship SoC, and the mid-year update to the Snapdragon 855 arrived only a few hours ago, but we can say it is already receiving much interest from a host of OEMs. While ASUS already said it could be the first to pack the SoC in its upcoming ASUS ROG Phone 2, Black Shark, Lenovo, Realme, VIVO, Redmi, and now Nubia have since confirmed working on releasing devices with the SoC in the coming months(Nubia Red Magic 3 special edition).
Gizchina News of the week
For Nubia, the brand earlier today in a Weibo post confirmed that it has a special edition NubiaRed Magic 3 in the making. The device will feature the Snapdragon 855+ processor. The Weibo post says the phone is “coming soon” and includes a poster that shows the Snapdragon 855+ processor.
Details about the special edition Nubia Red Magic 3 Snapdragon 855+ edition are still sketchy. However, the device no doubt will bring substantial upgrades to the Snapdragon 855 powered Nubia Red Magic3.
What we do think is that the Nubia Red Magic 3 Snapdragon 855+ edition will come with an improved display. Most likely from the 90Hz AMOLED display to 120Hz display. The device might come in just 12GB RAM option, while it might retain the enormous 5,000mAh battery.
