We are a few months away from the debut of the Mate 30 Pro. But there are already several indiscretions about the device on the net. Especially in regards to the cameras sector. The rear camera should consist of 4 lenses. And today, one of these could even be a cinematic lens. Huawei has actually raised the level of the shots a lot. But it did not provide significant improvements to the video front. At least compared to the flagships from Samsung, Apple and Google. But the adoption of a new solution like this could indicate a change of gear.
Nothing is certain and official but the Dutch site LetsGoDigital has found a patent filed in Europe by the Chinese company that talks about the subject and states in the final line of the document: “smartphone, cinematographic, cameras”. With a lot of “Cine-Lens” written in the opening. The cinematographic optics differ from the classic ones and are created specifically for recording videos in all conditions, even on the move, maintaining high image quality and precise controls on focus, light, aperture and much more.
