Huawei has been around for a while now in the notebook market. And with the Matebook X Pro we have one of the most attractive ultraportables on the market. However, did you know it was not the only one?
Indeed, Huawei’s sub-brand Honor has decided to follow the same path. It delivered in 2018 its first laptop: the Magicbook. The latter was more than inspired Macbook, and offered excellent value for money.
The Honor Magicbook Pro is revealed
Honor did not abandon this market. While we will probably discover soon its first TV, the brand tease on its Chinese social networks the arrival of a new PC: the Magicbook Pro.
Gizchina News of the week
No one knows for the moment whether it will take the place of the original Magicbook or will be sold by its side. But its sobriquet “Pro” suggests that it will benefit from an improved technical sheet allowing greater productivity. The brand promises a borderless screen, high performance and a thinner profile. Rumor has it that it takes advantage of an Intel CPU i5-8265U coupled with the GPU Nvidia MX250, with 8 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage in SSD.
It was confirmed that this Magicbook Pro would benefit from a 16:9 aspect ratio Full HD IPS LCD screen. We will find out more soon since it could be present at a presentation tomorrow by Honor in China.
Let’s hope that the brand later dares to offer this product for sale in global markets, where it could meet with great success if it positioned itself intelligently in terms of tariffs.
