A couple of days ago, there were reports that Vivo will release the vivo Z5 in Beijing, China on July 31. This smartphone with model number V1921A has gone through TENAA and it is ready to hit the market. Today, some official posters of this smartphone reveal its design and colour options. These images were released by the company’s product manager, Wu Fan.
From the images, we see the waterdrop display, triple rear camera and the absence of a fingerprint sensor. In terms of the paint job, we have three options. We have a greenish, purple and Skyline Blue colour options and all appear to use the gradient design. Though the rear feels like glass, there is no confirmation to this.
In the core configuration, the vivo Z5 uses 6.38-inch waterdrop screen with a resolution of 2340×1080. It comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 712 processor coupled with 8GB of RAM. On the rear, we have a 48MP AI main camera as well as 8MP super wide-angle and another 20MP sensor. The battery capacity is 4500 but it supports 22.5W flash charge.
In addition, the vivo Z5 supports an on-screen fingerprint sensor. This is the first smartphone in the vivo Z-series to use this feature. At present, vivo Z5 has already opened an appointment on the official website of vivo but we will have to wait till July 31 for the official release.
