The Asus ZenFone 6 is the latest flagship bet from the Taiwanese firm. While the handset lacks an OLED display, it has a lot of pros, including a Snapdragon 855, a 5,000mAh battery and its unique rotating camera. The Asus ZenFone 6 is currently the smartphone which offers the most powerful selfie camera since it’s a single and powerful camera setup that rotates by request. However, some users started to report problems with the rotating mechanism. These users have been experiencing slow or incomplete rotation. Today, Asus is rolling out a new update to address these issues.

After the update, the camera should rotate at a constant speed and should complete the full 180° rotation. Furthermore, the retract camera button is now more accessible. Users can access it via the first page of the quick settings menu. The update also brings optimizations for the camera’s software. The update further improves the EIS (Electronic Image Stabilization) offering a better video recording. Furthermore, the Super Night Mode will produce better texture with less noise and accurate colors.
The update also promises to reduce power consumption and improve the call quality. There are other software related features including system stability improvements. This is a gradual update and may take several days to reach all the units of the ZenFone 6. If you’re impatient you can always check by tapping System updates in Settings > System.
