Pictures of the handset with a complete gold chassis were posted online today with famous Chinese actor Donnie Yen wielding one of the units. For now, there are no official details regarding the release or the price of the ultra-premium handset, if at all.

Taking a look at the images, the rear of the phone shows that the pure 24K gold coating is the handiwork of Gold Elite Paris which is known for its exquisite gold platings and carvings. The Gold Elite website has other branded phones like the Galaxy S8+ and the Galaxy Note 8 plated with gold as well. The rear of the phone also has the name of the actor printed on the back. Also, the custom edition Huawei P30 Pro comes complete with its exclusive box and a gold plate certificate. Things are looking up for the Chinese smartphone behemoth after it has been given a breather from the US trade ban. The company has already revised its sales forecast with a positive outlook after the situation has cooled down.
