We are only 2 weeks away from the big presentation event that Samsung will organize for the new Galaxy Note 10 and Galaxy Note 10+. But we already have a long list of information about them. Some details, however, remained still obscure, at least until the new massive leak of today, which has exposed all the secrets of the next top range of the Korean giant. No more secrets 2 weeks before launch
The rumors leaked in recent weeks are therefore almost entirely confirmed. Galaxy Note 10 and Galaxy Note 10+ will be in fact two almost identical smartphones. Which however will differ in a few but crucial aspects. Starting from the dimensions: Galaxy Note 10 will be significantly more compact and lighter (167 grams vs 198 grams ). But at the same time it will have a display of smaller dimensions ( 6.3″ vs 6.8″ ). And less defined (full HD+ vs Quad HD+). But above all a smaller battery (3.500 mAh vs 4.300 mAh), able to recharge more slowly (25 W vs 45 W). Other differences will concern the absence of memory expansion (present only on Note 10+). RAM cuts (up to 8 GB on Note 10, up to 12 GB on Note 10+). And the absence of a fourth rear ToF photo sensor on the standard version.
For the rest, the hardware platform is the same, based on the renewed Exynos 9825, as well as the internal memory of 256 GB using UFS 3.0 technology, the photographic sector (with the exception of the ToF sensor), the inevitable S-Pen, the IP68 certification against water and dust and the ultrasonic fingerprint reader integrated in the display. Very complete connectivity for both models, with Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, Beidou and LTE, while there will be a separate 5G variant, probably based on Galaxy Note 10+.
Also from the design point of view, the two models are almost indistinguishable. On the front we find the large borderless curved display on the sides, with a very small upper and lower frame, in addition to the peculiar central hole intended for the front camera. At the rear, we find the photographic module arranged vertically and positioned at the top left, which houses 3 cameras. Beside, on Note 10 we find only the LED for the flash , while on Note 10+ we have also the ToF sensor.
Price and availability
In closing, we also report the latest rumors related to the availability and the sale price. We know for sure that Galaxy Note 10 and Galaxy Note 10+ will be officially presented on August 7th, but the market launch should not be immediate, but will start instead a couple of weeks later, precisely on August 23rd. The European price for the Galaxy Note 10 should start at around 999€ , while the Galaxy Note 10+ to 1,149€ .
