Back in June, Samsung released an update for the Galaxy A50 which introduced Night Mode and Super Slo-Mo video recording. Now a new update is reaching the midrange device with a couple of improvements and an updated security patch.
The new firmware introduces some improvements to the camera and Wi-Fi. Furthermore, there’s a new shortcut for the QR scanner feature. Worth noting that via this update, users of the Galaxy A50 are rocking the latest Google’s security patch available – July 2019. You can check out the full changelog below.

Samsung is keeping a good pace when it comes to providing software support for its midrange device. The company provided an update back in April, followed by another in May with a couple of new software features in improvements. Interesting enough, many of these recent updates brought improvements to the handset’s camera.
The Galaxy A50 is one of the most successful handsets from Samsung’s new mid-range devices. Since it is available in many markets, Samsung wants to make it even better for customers betting on the brand. This update weighs in at 190MB and sports A505FDDU2ASG4 version number.
Currently, the update is rolling out in India, but more markets should be included in the schedule in the coming days.
