The BlackShark 2 Pro is Xiaomi’s next iteration for the gaming smartphone series. The handset will go official on July 30 and has been the target of multiple leaks recently. An AnTuTu Benchmark surfaced yesterday teasing an insane 400,000 score due to the use of Qualcomm’s overclocked Snapdragon 855+. Today, the Chinese giant decided to post an official teaser that confirms the use of Qualcomm’s new SoC.
The teaser also gives us a hint of what to expect from the BlackShark 2 Pro design. It also reveals the front of the handset which is pretty similar to the standard variant.

While the video doesn’t reveal more details about the handset, recent leaks already shed some light on the specs. According to AnTuTu the smartphone will run Android Pie and will boast 12GB RAM and 256GB of storage onboard. There is also a variant with 512GB of Internal Storage. Last but not least, the handset will ship with a FullHD+ AMOLED display which provides adequate image quality without compromising the GPU.
As previously mentioned, the BlackShark 2 Pro will go official on July 30. Let’s see how many details will surface ahead of the launch.
