Samsung Galaxy J7 Duo now receiving Android 9 Pie update

Samsung released the Android 9 Pie update for several smartphones of its portfolio. The update not only brought the goodies of Pie but also introduced a new design language for Samsung devices. Today, the update is contemplating the owners of the midrange device Galaxy J7 Duo. The handset is available in just a few markets, being the first J device to debut with high-performance chipset – The Exynos 7884.

The new firmware boasts J720FDDU4BSG7 version number and weighs in at 1.27GB. The update bumps the security patch to July 1, 2019, and brings OneUI 1.1. Furthermore, the package includes Digital Wellbeing and camera’s Night mode but worth mentioning that it doesn’t include all the features of recent OneUI updates.
