Honor 9X Shipped Over 300,000 Units On The First Day Of Sales

Honor is gaining momentum. If nothing accidental happens, it will outrun all existing smartphone brands, even its founding father Huawei. The latest model coming our way from this brand is the Honor 9X. Today, the company announced the first day sales exceeded 300,000 units, making a new record of Honor online/offline sales. This is also the first-day sales champion in 2019 at Tmall, Jingdong, and Suning.

Those who are unfamiliar with this handset should be surprised. But we are dealing with the cheapest model in the niche. And this is the quasi-flagship category. The biggest selling point of the Honor 9X is the Kirin 810 SoC based on a 7nm process node. Thus, due to this chip, the more advanced performance is available for larger masses. Moreover, the Kirin 810 is the second 7nm chip of Huawei. Simply put, 2 out of 4 7nm chipsets belong to Huawei.

Apart from this, the Honor 9X sports a 6.59-inch genuine full-screen. The company could reach a 92% screen ratio due to the pop-up camera design. The latter hosts a 16MP selfie shooter. At the same time, on the back, it carries a dual-camera with a 48MP + 8MP sensors combination (the Pro variant is packed with a triple-camera). There are three color options to choose from – charm sea blue, enchanting flame red, and magic night black. Except for the latter, the rest color variants look quite amazing with the X-style back pattern.

The original 9X 4GB+64GB comes at 1399 yuan ($203), the 6GB+64GB version is available at 1599 yuan ($232), and the 6GB+128GB version’s price is 1899 yuan ($276). The Honor 9X Pro 8GB+128GB version costs 2199 yuan ($320) and the 8GB+256GB version is at 2399 yuan ($349). They were announced on July 23 and went on sale just yesterday.
