Samsung’s mid-range A-series lineup this year had some great handsets like the Galaxy A50. These devices came with the octa-core Exynos 9610 SoC clocked at 2.3GHz. It’s built on the 10nm architecture. And Samsung is already working on the Exynos 9630 which will be its successor. This information comes courtesy of GalaxyClub and the blog believes that the chip might be on the next-gen Galaxy A51 or Galaxy A71.
Gizchina News of the week
Information we received shows that Samsung is developing an Exynos 9630 with product code S5E9630. But that’s pretty much it. The Exynos 9610 actually took a lot of time to actually come inside a Samsung phone after its launch. This could also be the case with the Exynos 9630. That said, we can expect Samsung to up its midrange game with a more powerful 8nm like the current top model Exynos 9820 SoC. It’s also possible that the chip could have 5G but we’re getting ahead of ourselves here.
Samsung’s next-gen A series handsets just got trademarked recently and we’re not expecting to see them before early 2020.
