HTC may return to the Indian market this month

HTC closed the doors of its Indian operations back in the last year. Apparently, this happened when a couple of high-ranking officials resigned from the Taiwanese company. Now, according to a couple of rumors, the company is aiming to return to the competitive market of India. The report indicates that HTC may be coming as early as this month, but can it succeed?

According to industry sources, HTC will be introducing new smartphones to the Indian market in August using the Inone Technology distribution network.

Gizchina News of the week

“Inone Technology is the brand licensee for HTC in India. It is headquartered in Shenzhen (China) with presence in India and many other countries and is known for its smartphone manufacturing and retail business. HTC will sell its new device in India through Inone.”

The company has been operating in the red for quite some time. Despite this, it still has a lot of breath to jump in the fierce field of India. In order to mark its arrival, the company will also come with a new flagship series with compelling specs and exclusive features.

It’s good to see HTC giving a step forward where the real competition is going on. The Taiwan-based firm will face a strong competition lead by Xiaomi and its Chinese fellows as well as Samsung and its Galaxy A-series. That will be a tough fight, of course, in the end, customers will get one more option to choose.
