Samsung is gearing up to launch a successor for the last year’s Galaxy Book2. The new device is dubbed as Galaxy Book S and has been a target of some leaks recently. Today, a couple of press renders for the compact laptop have emerged online.
The official high-quality images have been shared by the reliable Evan Blass. Unlike the Galaxy Book2 which was a 2-in-1 device, tablet and laptop, the Book S is a regular laptop complete with a keyboard attached. The display has very thin bezels on three sides. There’s also a camera on the top part of the display for video calls.

A few days ago GeekBench revealed specs for an alleged laptop with Windows 10, Snapdragon 855, and 8GB RAM. While there’s no mention from Samsung teasing the launch of the new Galaxy Book, there’s a strong chance that it comes alongside the Galaxy Note 10 lineup.
Samsung’s next big event will happen in the next Wednesday, August 7. So if you are holding your breath for the new Book S, stay tuned for the event coverage.
