Sprint and OnePlus earlier this week announced the imminent launch of the Oneplus 7 Pro 5G on US carrier’s network. Though a date, as well as pricing, has yet to be named. It has now also been confirmed that the OnePlus 7 Pro 5G variant would be heading to more countries soon.
China could be the next in line for the device’s global rollout since commercial 5G is now rolling out there. The device was earlier spotted on China’s 3C authority and now it has again cleared the mandatory TENAA certification bearing the GM1925 model number.

TENAA has yet to upload the entire specs to its database, though accompanying images confirms the device to be the 5G variant – with the 5G logo crested on the rear of the Nebula blue version. While no specs have been uploaded, it is worth noting that previous exposure reveals that the Oneplsu 7 Pro 5G is awfully similar to the OnePlus 7 Pro – parading the same 6.67-inch AMOLED display on the front, with little or no bezel on any side. The device is devoid of any form of a notch or hole-punch camera. Instead, it has a pop-up camera on the top edge, and front and back glass that’s curved on the edges.

The similarities aside, there are quite a few notable internal differences. Notably, it now includes the Snapdragon X50 5G modem as well as a 5G antennae and redesigned NFC antennae.
Of course, the device when launched in China won’t be the only contender. The Axon 10 Pro 5G arrived the country recently, while the Huawei Mate 20 X 5G following on the heel of its UK debut will land in China later this month.
