Samsung is about to unveil today its Galaxy Note 10, brand new standard meter for the second half of 2019. A few hours before the start of the conference, Samsung unveils the Exynos 9825. The chip that will equip this highly anticipated smartphone.
Exynos 9825: 7nm transition
Samsung has a habit of using the same SoC ( System on a Chip ) on its Galaxy S at the beginning of the year and on its Galaxy Note at the end of the year. 2019 is an exception to the rule since we note here an evolution between the two ranges of devices.
Earlier this year, Samsung shipped the Exynos 9820 in its Galaxy S10 and the Exynos 9825 is the logical evolution. The main difference is in the fineness of engraving. Goodbye the 8 nm LPP, we go here to a process in 7 nm EUV which should, therefore, make the smartphone more efficient than its predecessor.
