Samsung is gearing up to announce the most powerful handset of its A-series in the form of Galaxy A90. The handset has been a target of multiple leaks in the past few weeks. It already passed through Wi-Fi Alliance and now has successfully achieved Bluetooth SIG certification. For that reason, we believe that its launch is very close to the shores.
Interesting enough, the Bluetooth SIG database reveals two distinct variants with SM-A908N and SM-A908B model numbers. The latter model matches the handset which appeared in the Wi-Fi alliance database. This further indicates that the company will bring two variants, one with 4G and another one with the newest 5G connectivity. Unfortunately, the document doesn’t reveal more than the fact that the two versions of the A90 will ship with Bluetooth 5.0.
Gizchina News of the week
Rumors suggest that the Galaxy A90 will reach the flagship territory with Snapdragon 855 and 6GB of RAM. While the same chipset will be on both variants, the company will likely offer different RAM options for the most powerful version with 5G capabilities. Furthermore, these two versions should come with some differences in the camera specs. The 5G A90 will come with a 48 MP + 12 MP + 5 MP setup and its 4G sibling – a 48MP+8MP+5MP arrangement.
The A90 will ship with a 6.7-inch Infinity-U Super AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution. A 4,400mAh battery fuels the powerhouse. Unfortunately, seems that Samsung has moved from the idea of making this device with a bezel-free display. For now, we’ll have to wait for more details about the Galaxy A90. Considering the recent certifications it won’t be so long.
