Motorola has an event in India on August 23, perhaps for the Motorola One Action

Motorola One Action

The Motorola One Action, and perhaps the Motorola ZOOM are both set to go official at an event on August 23 in India, according to a fresh tip from the company. The Lenovo owned company has scheduled an event for the said date in India for the unveiling of both devices.

Unfortunately, there is no clear or direct words to point to the devices launching on August, the invite, however, subtly confirms that the Motorola One Action might be the highlight of the show.

The official invite reads “With relentless innovation at heart, Motorola is ready to introduce a bold new device created to inspire excellence on August 23rd, 2019. Get ready to #CaptureTheAction.”.

We are obviously most interested in hashtag #CaptureTheAction which is an indication that the company could launch the One Action smartphone. There is no evidence to prove that the Motorola One Zoom will appear at the event, though we suspect it could be given little attention.

Motorola One Action official launch date

While we await some official confirmation, it is worth noting that the Motorola One Action has been in the news for quite a long time So an August 23 debut isn’t surprising, given the amount of attention it has received in the past. However, a recent Amazon listing confirmed the device could go on sale on September 7 (according to Amazon), following a reveal at IFA. So it is plausible it could debut first in India before heading to other regions.

Motorola OneAction Price

The Amazon listing which has now been pulled down cost €300 for the variant with 4GB of RAM and 128GB storage, though we are not sure what the variants with 3/32GB and 4/64GB storage could cost.

Early leaks suggest the device will flaunt a 6.3-inch (2,520 x 1,080 pixels) 21:9 display with the Exynos 9609 SoC, up to 4GB RAM variants, up to 128GB storage under the hood. For its main selling point, the device could come with a 12.6MP in-screen front, a 12.6MP primary rear cameras, 117-degree ultra-wide sensor, and probably a depth sensor.
