Meizu 16s Pro with SD855+ exceeds 460,000 on AnTuTu


Yesterday, Chinese manufacturer, Meizu, sent out the invitation letter for the Meizu 16s Pro launch conference. The Meizu new product launch conference will hold on August 28 at the Meizu Base Camp – Zhuhai Grand Theatre. In recent times, there have been reports of Meizu folding up. The company no longer operate some of its important stores in China and former employees claim that the company has not made a profit for a long time. However, Meizu founder, chairman, and CEO, Huang Zhang, said that this flagship smartphone will “speak for itself”. It appears that the device is already speaking for its self considering the latest AnTuTu ranking.

Today, a new Meizu model “m1973” appeared on AnTuTu and it is obviously the Meizu 16s Pro. First of all, this smartphone comes with the latest Snapdragon 855+ against reports that it will use the SD855 SoC. This smartphone racks up a massive 464,411 and it is currently the best performing SD855+ phone on AnTuTu. As of now, not many smartphones use the SD855+ processor. However, the likes of BlackShark 2 Pro with SD855+ managed 405,598 points on AnTuTu.

In addition to the SD855+ chip, the Meizu 16s Pro also comes with an Adreno 640 GPU and a 2232 × 1080 resolution display. The unit that arrived AnTuTu comes with 6GB of RA and 128GB of internal storage. In the camera department, we have a 20MP selfie camera and a 48MP main rear camera. The rear camera uses a multiple sensor setup. This smartphone will sport Android 9 Pie out-of-the-box.
