Realme 5 and 5 Pro: design and first features revealed

This Summer will bring many surprises to the Android ecosystem. We have not only had presentations of brands such as Samsung or what awaits us from Huawei. There is also good news from Realme. The company will officially present the Realme 5 within a few days and today we can already know part of its characteristics and also some details of the design. Almost all the information comes from the company itself or from very important sources, so we can treat this information practically as official. If you were thinking of buying a mid-range, the smartest thing might be to wait for these new Realme 5.

Yes, we speak in the plural because two models will be presented: the Realme 5 and the Realme 5 Pro. Both will share a lot of specifications, although not all. Their designs seem to be quite similar and in both, we see a quad rear camera configuration. This will be one of the most important features of the terminal.

Realme strong commitment to the camera for this Realme 5 and 5 Pro

Everything indicates that the new terminals will not have the same camera. We know that in the Realme 5 Pro we will have a main sensor of 48 megapixels, something that does not seem to be present in the basic terminal. Maybe in Realme 5, we are facing a main sensor of 12 megapixels. The other sensor technologies go through a super macro, a wide-angle and a depth sensor for portrait mode.

The design of the terminals has been seen in the company’s social networks. Realme has published a video of the ‘Pro’ model that reveals the glass for the rear, its 4 cameras and also the design of the front. On this side, it will have a notch in the form of a drop of water and a lower bezel wider than the rest. It is a design to which we are already accustomed.

The Realme 5 will have the Qualcomm Snapdragon 665. This processor is not the most powerful in the mid-range market, but it makes us think that the price of the device will be quite reduced. But the feature that really impressed us is the battery. Both devices will have a 5,000 mAh module inside.

In the case of Realme 5 Pro it will also have a Qualcomm processor. Although at the moment it is unknown which one. Finally, we also know that there will be a big difference when charging the 5,000 mAh module. The ‘Pro’ model will feature a fast-charging VOOC Flash Charge 3.0 that promises to recharge 55% of the battery in 30 minutes.

The presentation date of these Realme 5 and Realme 5 Pro is set for August 20. We already know a great list of details about them. But it is expected that more leaks will arrive before their presentation.
