For Huawei, the upcoming flagship Mate 30 series will definitely have many upgrades. According to recent reports, Huawei Mate 30 series will support 4K 60fps video recording. This will better meet the consumer demand for a flagship camera. However, Huawei is at least a year late on this one. The iPhone 8 Plus and iPhone X came with this feature in the fall of 2017. In the spring of 2018, Samsung Galaxy S9 with Snapdragon 845 also used this feature. Nevertheless, it will definitely give the Mate 30 series a better camera than its predecessor.

From the recent spy images of the Huawei Mate 30 Pro, there are a lot of design changes. The rear camera design is now circular as against the square design on the Mate 20 series. In addition, the curvature of the hyperbolic side screen is larger (nearly 90 degrees). This is commonly known as the “waterfall screen” in the industry.

According to speculations, the Huawei Mate 30 Pro will come with a 6.7-inch display and the curvature on both sides reaches 88°. Furthermore, the size of the notch is larger than that of the P30 Pro, mainly because it integrates more Face ID sensors. Huawei Mate 30 Pro is expected to be equipped with dual 40MP main shots, CMOS size of 1/1.55 inches. This will be supported by a 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens and an 8MP 5x optical zoom lens.
