We’re expecting OPPO to launch three Reno phones in India in a week and last week’s leaks made it known that there will be a low-end Reno phone called Reno 2F. But not much was known about that handset until now. An exclusive report by 91mobiles has shed more light into the characteristics of this pocket-friendly Reno device. The report says the Reno 2F will replace the F series of phones in India and will be priced under the Rs 20,000 bracket.

The Reno 2F will also be a good midranger as it will feature a Snapdragon 710 SoC which is although an old chip but a reliable one at that. It’s also likely that it will house a quad-camera setup even though we don’t know the exact composition of it. This also explains the entire lineup and the Reno 2Z position as being in the middle of the trio. OPPO is consolidating its mid-range lineup, and to clear out confusion it is making the Reno line stretch right from the flagship territory right down to the low-end mid-tier segment. The Reno 2, series will all feature Snapdragon 7xx CPUs and sit below the current flagship the Reno 10x Zoom.
