Redmi Note 8 Pro’s box makes its first online appearance


Chinese manufacturer, Redmi, is getting set to unveil its latest Note series – Redmi Note 8 series. These smartphones will arrive on August 29. The upcoming Redmi Note 8 Pro is turning out to be a powerful smartphone. This device not only comes with a 64MP camera, but it also uses the gaming-centric MediaTek Helio G90T SoC. Now, we have the first peek at the packaging box of this smartphone. First of all, the box is all pinkish and the “Pro” comes right on top the “8”. This is quite different from the Redmi Note 7 Pro box.

According to Lu Weibing, the Redmi Note 8 Pro will use the gaming-centric MediaTek Helio G90T. Under the 4G network, with the support of MediaTek HyperEngine, the phone will support the dual-link service. Moreover, in the WiFi environment, the phone can support 5G/2.4G dual WiFi concurrency and WiFi/LTE dual concurrency. Generally, the Redmi Note 8 Pro is going to be the most powerful smartphone in the niche.

In addition, the Redmi Note 8 Pro will be the first smartphone to come with a 64MP Samsung ISOCELL Bright GW1 main sensor. The photosensitive area is 1/1.7 inches, which is 34% higher than that of the 48MP CMOS. Also, this camera combines four-in-one 1.6μm large pixels mode. And of course, this handset supports night shooting mode. It uses a quad-rear camera setup but the specifications of the other sensors are still under wraps.
